December is a great time of year, let’s face it. Rogue One is almost upon us, Christmas is now only 3 weeks away and we’re slowly approaching awards season. And with awards season comes The Hollywood Reporter‘s exceptional group of round-table discussions featuring the men and women who are set to shape the events of the 2017 Oscars.
As we look forward to the release of La La Land, one of the clear frontrunners for Oscar gold, the latest video from THR focuses on star Emma Stone, a previous Academy Award nominee, as she discusses the making of the film, how director Damien Chazelle wanted to capture a natural feel to the dance and song numbers, as well as the comedies that really inspired and shaped her career and life.
It’s a truly fascinating look into the actress herself and it’s really wonderful to see such a talented group of actresses together discussing what we all love – cinema.
Take a watch below.
La La Land is released in the UK on 12th January 2017, while lucky Americans get to see the film on 9th December this year.
