Goldblum ‘Finds A Way’ Into Jurassic World Sequel

Jeff Goldblum has signed on to join the cast of the Jurassic World sequel, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Goldblum starred as the leather-jacket-wearing, meme spawning, fan favourite Dr. Ian Malcolm in both Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and will once again find himself up against dinosaurs in 2018.
Having made it out of two films alive, he’s surely now the world’s biggest expert on dinosaur theme park survival. No doubt needing his advice – and coming up against his suave criticisms – will be returning cast members Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Nothing at all is known about the plot of the sequel yet, but also amongst the cast are James Cromwell, Toby Jones and Justice Smith. Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow has written the script – alongside Derek Connolly – with J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) set to direct. Trevorrow’s Jurassic World received a bit of a backlash after it was released, but this didn’t stop it becoming the fourth highest grossing film of all time.
Goldblum has recently been seen in the excellent trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, which is set for release in November.
The as-yet-untitled Jurassic World sequel is set for release on 22nd June 2018
