It’s Truth Time! Julian Barratt Stars In Hilarious Mindhorn Trailer

If you ever bared witness to the endearing and quite frankly genius television show The Mighty Boosh back in the day then you’ll know that one half of that crew, Julian Barratt, was quite simply a lyrical and comedic genius. His work in scribing the show has seen his involved in various other impressive projects and now he’s set for centre stage in the new Studiocanal film, Mindhorn.

Presenting us with Richard Thorncroft (Barratt), a washed-up 80s television star who is thrust back into action after a criminal investigation sees him as the hero to the criminal’s nemesis, Mindhorn looks every bit the comedy treat that we’ve come to expect from Barrett and his cohorts. Armed with his robotic eye patch and a keen eye for detail, expect Mindhorn to be everything we would expect from a film that also includes an impressive cast including Steve Coogan, Russell Tovey, Andrea Riseborough and Essie Davis.
