Looking to bring something very different to their brand, Barcelona brewing company Estrella Damm are releasing their latest online short film, The Little Things, tomorrow starring actors Jean Reno and Laia Costa.
Very much capturing the company’s ethos in enjoying culture and going out to meet people, the short film is certainly one that poses much interest and you can watch the trailer below.
Starring critically acclaimed cult French actor Jean Reno (Leon: The Professional) and upcoming BAFTA nominated Spanish actress Laia Costa (Victoria). The Little Things perfectly embodies Estrella Damm’s brand ethos of saying yes to gastronomic and cultural offerings; going out and meeting people, immersing yourself in the local creative scene.
Set against the Balearic backdrop of Majorca, The Little Things, directed by Alberto Rodríguez, presents its two leading protagonists, a cynical ageing actor, Jean-Pierre Bertrand, and his thirty-something assistant, Laia, with completely opposing philosophies on life as they ride an emotional rollercoaster from the moment they meet. Outgoing Laia tries to illuminate the way for Jean-Pierre during a surprising turn of events as she invites him to seize the moment; showing him undiscovered areas of the island, introduces him to her friends, encourages him to taste the local culinary dishes and sip the local beer.
