John Boyega Storms Pacific Rim: Maelstrom Set Photos

After a veritable production maelstrom of its own, Pacific Rim: Maelstrom seems to have finally found its feet with director Steven DeKnight (Daredevil) at the helm.
Recent photos from the set in Australia show John Boyega settling into a new science-fiction franchise following his big break in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Boyega stars as stars as the son of Idris Elba’s Stacker Pentecost and will be joined by Scott Eastwood, Tian Jing and Levi Meaden. The much-anticipated follow-up to Guillermo del Toro’s 2013 blockbuster is due to hit cinemas in February 2018.
