Sky Cinema has announced that LIFE ITSELF, a film by the makers of the hit TV series This Is Us, is being released in cinemas nationwide on 4 January 2019. The film has just received its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Writer and director Dan Fogelman, best known for his work on Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning This Is Us, examines the perils and rewards of everyday life in a multigenerational saga. As a young New York couple goes from college romance to marriage and the birth of their first child, the unexpected twists of their journey create reverberations that echo over continents and through lifetimes in LIFE ITSELF.
Set in New York City and Carmona, Spain, LIFE ITSELF celebrates the human condition and all of its complications with humour, poignancy and love featuring an international ensemble including Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Olivia Cooke, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Laia Costa, Alex Monner, and Mandy Patinkin.
LIFE ITSELF will be the Royal Bank of Canada Gala at the BFI London Film Festival on 15 October.
