Side-Splitting New Trailer For Anne Hathaway’s Monster Movie

We’ve seen Anne Hathaway occupy a number of different characters across her career, but one who shares a psychic connection to a city-wrecking monster from another planet? Yeah, that’s uncharted territory, even for her.

Arriving online this evening is the hilarious new trailer for Colossal – the bizarre brainchild of Spanish writer-director Nacho Vigalondo – which co-stars Jason Jason Sudeikis, Dan Stevens, and Tim Blake Nelson. Check it out below!

Gloria (Anne Hathaway) is an out-of-work girl who, after getting kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend, is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, South Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to his far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.

Colossal has been tearing up the festival circuit, gaining heaps of praise from international critics, so we are extremely excited for it to arrive on British shores this April.
