After a slew of new trailers and sneak peeks arrived over the Super Bowl weekend, the treats just keep on coming with a brand new trailer for upcoming comedy Snatched, which you can view in the player below.
The new raunchy-looking comedy sees the long-awaited return to the big screen of the legendary Goldie Hawn, her first film for over 15 years since she starred in 2002 comedy The Banger Sisters opposite Susan Sarandon. Snatched sees her team up with Amy Schumer and sees the duo play mother and daughter who take a trip to “paradise” which doesn’t work out exactly as they had hoped.
Here’s the official synopsis:
After her boyfriend dumps her on the eve of their exotic vacation, impetuous dreamer Emily Middleton (Amy Schumer) persuades her ultra-cautious mother, Linda (Goldie Hawn) to travel with her to paradise. Polar opposites, Emily and Linda realise that working through their differences as mother and daughter – in unpredictable, hilarious fashion – is the only way to escape the wildly outrageous jungle adventure they have fallen into.
Written by Katie Dippold (Ghostbusters, Spy) and directed by Jonathan Levine (The Night Before), the film has all the elements in place to be the big comedy of the summer. We can’t wait.
Snatched opens in cinemas on May 12th.
