Stunning Teaser For Blade Runner 2049

The 1982 original directed by Ridley Scott, which is widely considered as a classic of the science-fiction genre with Harrison Ford’s (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) Rick Deckard up against Rutger Hauer’s fearsome Nexus-6 leader Roy Batty.

Considering the mixed results with his return to the Alien franchise through Prometheus, the announcement of a Blade Runner sequel was bound to be met with caution.

Handing the directorial reins to Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) , who has recently stunned audiences with Arrival starring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. The initial apprehension from fans may just be about switch to genuine excitement, as Warner Bros Pictures have finally released a gorgeous ‘announcement’ teaser for the film.

Here we are treated to the first look of Ryan Gosling (awards season hopeful La La Land) in this futuristic world alongside Ford’s Deckard, with his leading role along with many still shrouded in secrecy.

Blade Runner 2049 which also stars Suicide Squad‘s Jared Leto, Captain Phillips‘ Barkhad Abdi and House Of Cards actress Robin Wright, the film arrives in cinemas on 6th October 2017.
