Set for its release this week, Michael Bay’s Transformers: The Last Knight has been confirmed as the final outing for the director in this universe and there’s no doubt he’s ready to go out with a bang.
To celebrate the upcoming release, Paramount Pictures has unveiled one more clip from the movie as Mark Wahlberg’s Cade Yeager meets with Sir Anthony Hopkins’ Sir Edmund Burton as he seeks answers to the real mythology of the Transformers.
The pair are soon joined by Laura Haddock’s Vivian Wembley who is having her first Transformers experience with none other than fan favourite Hot Rod. It’s a scene filled with back and forth humour as well as Hopkins calling Wahlberg ‘dude’.
You can watch it below.
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
Transformers: The Last Knight is out this Thursday.
