Trading Hogwarts for a life of crime, it looks like Rupert Grint is ready for something very different to wands and wizards, with the upcoming TV show, Snatch. Following the current trend of television shows being created from the roots of classic movies, Snatch sees us back in the streets of London as we follow a whole host of characters looking to dodge the law and profit out of some shady dealings.
Why the creators felt the need to recreate Snatch – one of the most quotable movies you can find – is anyone’s guess, but at least this show looks to be bolstered somewhat by some familiar faces in the likes of Grint, Dougray Scott, Hustle‘s Mark Warren, Ed Westwick and Luke Pasqualino.
The only issue for the show is that it has been picked up by Crackle, an online streaming network that isn’t exactly hot on the heels on the likes of Amazon and Netflix in terms of competing in the online streaming stakes, so it’s likely this one will fall by the wayside. Either way, you can watch the trailer for the new show below.
Snatch airs on Crackle from March 16th.
