Check Out A Wonderful New Clip From Gifted Starring Chris Evans

On the eve of his appearance on CBeebies reading a bedtime story, take a look at Chris Evans in this heartwarming new clip from Gifted. The clip, entitled ‘Sunset’,  sees him trying his best to answer some of life’s tougher questions from his young niece.

We’re used to seeing him pulling helicopters from the sky, fighting Nazis and taking down robots as Captain America. It looks like Fox Searchlight’s Gifted is going to show us a softer, more grounded side to Evans.

Evans stars as Frank Adler, a single man raising his niece Mary (McKenna Grace), a child prodigy. Frank’s plans for a normal upbringing and school life are scuppered when her mathematical abilities come to light.  Directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man, (500) Days of Summer), it also stars Lindsay Duncan as Frank’s mother, Octavia Spencer as their landlady, and Jenny Slate as Mary’s teacher.

Evans is set to appear on CBeebies’ Bedtime Stories on 10^th May reading ‘Even Superheroes have Bad Days’, a book by Shelly Becker and Eda Kaban. Evans will return as Captain America in Avengers: Infinity War, expected in April 2018.

Gifted is released in UK cinemas on Friday 16^th June 2017.
