Explosive Trailer for Star Wars Battlefront – Rogue One: Scarif DLC

Ahead of its arrival on Tuesday, Electronic Arts (EA) and Dice Entertainment have unveiled a stunning trailer for the “Rogue One: Scarif” DLC available for Star Wars Battlefront.

The expansion pack will feature two playable heroes from the forthcoming movie – Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso, and Ben Mendelsohn’s Director Orson Krennic – and will be staged on the film’s war-torn tropical planet, Scarif. This explosive trailer recreates some of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s exhilarating battle sequences, as well as offers glimpses at the new gameplay. Take a look here…

The DLC will be available for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, and will also be included in all purchases of the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition which contains all previously released DLC content, too.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story also stars Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Mads Mikkelsen, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen, and Forest Whitaker. The anthology epic is directed by Gareth Edwards, and opens in UK cinemas in IMAX 3D on Thursday, 15th December.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
