Life blasts into UK cinemas next month. Here's a brand new featurette for the Jake Gyllenhaal space epic.

With exactly one calendar month until the UK release of the hotly-tipped sci-fi survival thriller Life, the good folks at Sony Pictures UK have provided this awesome behind-the-scenes look at the film.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, and Ryan Reynolds, the new film launches into UK cinemas on 24th March. This new featurette – entitled “Encounter” – offers some never-before-seen footage from the upcoming movie, as well as interviews with scientists and space experts. Check it out below.

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.
