Whether you love or loathe the best-selling source material created by E.L James, a sequel is coming.
It’s impossible to deny the box-office success of its predecessor Fifty Shades Of Grey last year, grossing $571 million worldwide as the characters of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey were brought to life by its stars Dakota Johnson (A Bigger Splash) and Jamie Dornan (Anthropoid).
Taking the directorial reins from Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy), the new trailer for James Foley’s sequel (Glengarry Glen Ross) Fifty Shades Darker encourages its fans to ‘slip out of the ordinary’ as the provocative relationship between Anastasia and Christian intensifies, along with the demons of Grey’s past ‘relationships’ (enter Kim Basinger’s Elena Lincoln) returning to haunt him.
The film debuts across the UK on 10th February, once again in time for Valentine’s week. Check out the trailer below…
