November 1963 Trailer: John Travolta Digs Into the Mob’s Version of the JFK Assassination
Trailers 14th September 2026 Jon Dingle

There’s a new trailer out for November 1963, and it’s not the JFK conspiracy movie you’re expecting. Director Roland Joffé and screenwriter Nicholas Celozzi are telling the assassination from the mob’s side — Celozzi is the nephew of Chicago Outfit boss Sam Giancana, and says the story comes from things he was told growing up, not from a documentary rabbit hole.
John Travolta plays mob enforcer Johnny Roselli, and the rest of the cast reads like a who’s-who of “that guy from that thing”: Robert Carlyle as Jack Ruby, Dermot Mulroney as hitman Charles Nicoletti, Jefferson White (yes, Jimmy from Yellowstone) as Lee Harvey Oswald, Mandy Patinkin as Chicago boss Anthony Accardo, and Thomas Fiscella as Giancana himself.
They actually rebuilt Dealey Plaza for this — not in Dallas, but at Birds Hill Provincial Park outside Winnipeg, with something like 1,500 extras and 75-plus period cars. Principal photography wrapped back in mid-2025, and Ketchup Entertainment picked up distribution rights in May, so this has been a while coming.
No firm release date yet beyond “sometime in 2026,” but with the trailer now out, it shouldn’t be long.
