Luc Besson can be described as somewhat of an artist when it comes to imaginative movies, with the likes of The Fifth Element and Lucy showcasing just what unique talents the filmmaker possesses. Looking to prove that once more, he brings to us Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets, a sci-fi picture that looks like it may even render The Fifth Element as ‘normal-looking’.

Driven by the brilliantly cast duo of Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne, Valerian looks all kinds of awesome, with a wide spread of fantastic visuals blitzing the screen by way of otherworldly creatures, spanning colourful environments and all manner of spacecrafts and planetary entities.

It looks supremely gorgeous and certainly a film that could surprise many upon its arrival in cinemas.
