Following our visit to the Cineworld IMAX in Leicester Square last night for some exclusive footage of Transformers: The Last Knight, Paramount Pictures have released the introductory featurette from the event today for all to see.
With an introduction from Michael Bay from his very own editing suite – which is rigged directly up to a comms link with several of his other editors – the featurette helps give a greater understanding of just how the movie has been captured. Confirmed as the only film this summer to have been filmed in native 3D, meaning that Bay and his team have used all the cameras required to capture a truly astounding visual spectacle for IMAX.
From the behind-the-scenes footage you can see from this featurette alone, it’s clear that Bay has pulled out all the stops to make this a truly authentic and mind-blowing spectacle for Transformers fans alike and we can’t wait to witness this one in IMAX 3D.
Transformers: The Last Knight arrives in UK cinemas in June.
