Following the recent news that both Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown have signed on to star in the forthcoming sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, another major player has now been added to the roster.
Vera Farmiga – star of Bates Motel and Up in the Air – has also joined the project, which is helmed by Krampus director Michael Dougherty, and follows on from the events of Gareth Edwards’ 2014 original. Farmiga will play the Stranger Things star’s mother, whilst Chandler her father.
The new film is scheduled for an official release in March 2019, and will form part of the Monsterverse currently being coordinated by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary. The next instalment, Kong: Skull Island, opens in UK cinemas on 10th March.
