Chris Evans Stars In Latest Clip For Gifted

Just when you Chris Evans fans thought today couldn’t get any better following the confirmation that he will be following Tom Hardy as the next big movie star to read a bedtime story on CBeebies, he’s back again as a new clip from his upcoming movie Gifted has arrived.

Introducing us to the relationship between the Captain America star and young starlet McKenna Grace, the clip gives us an idea of the subtle humour that Gifted will be bringing to the fray, as well as a blossoming relationship that will undoubtedly become something truly special on screen.

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy – his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) – in a coastal town in Florida. Frank’s plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the seven year old’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank’s formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary. Octavia Spencer plays Roberta, Frank and Mary’s landlady and best friend. Jenny Slate is Mary’s teacher, Bonnie, a young woman whose concern for her student develops into a connection with her uncle as well.

Gifted is released in UK cinemas on 16th June.
