Halloween – YouTube Reveals Halloween 2018 Most Popular Trailer & Frozen’s Elsa Costume is Top of Costume Trends

Halloween is only nine days away, which means that costume prep and scary movie season is in full swing. In advance of the spooky night, we’ve worked with our trends experts at YouTube to see what’s capturing the attention of people this season in the UK.

YouTube is able to announce the most popular scary movie trailers this October, with the return of Mike Myers in 2018’s Halloween frightfully coming in at first place. It’s not just the new Halloween people can’t get enough off though, as the new film has caused a surge in views for the original.

We can also reveal which costumes are tipped to be hot property this year, and surprisingly Disney princesses may reign supreme, with Frozen’s Elsa taking the first place within the Top 10 most popular costumes on YouTube this year in the UK. Although technically an ice queen, perhaps she’s not quite as chilling as Suicide Squad’s Harley Quinn who’s bagged herself third place. It seems though that the Fortnite obsession is not letting up any time soon, with the gaming characters expected to be a big deal this Halloween.

We’ve also included some of the most popular gruesomely great Halloween makeup tutorials below, for those of us that want to take our costume game to the next level.
