Opening with John Boyega’s police officer in an interrogation room as he is questioned about one of the darkest moments of his life, the new trailer for Kathryn Bigelow’s Detroit is powerful and promises yet another emotional and dramatic story from the esteemed director.

Telling the story of one of the most fateful and darkest times in Detroit’s history some years ago in 1967, Bigelow’s film looks to uncover the violence and terror that unfolded all those years ago.

Featuring a stellar cast including Boyega, Anthony Mackie, Will Poulter and Jack Reynor, Detroit will undoubtedly be a tour de force when it arrives in UK cinemas on 25th August.
