Williams’ latest pieces are undoubtedly breathtaking and wonderful as expected, and yet again solidifies his place as the master of cinematic music. Of course, the new score harkens back – with several cues taken from both the original trilogy and the themes first showcased during The Force Awakens. Amongst the familiar notes are of course brand new themes from the film; such as the beautifully soaring ‘The Spark’, and the hip-shakingly fun ‘Canto Bight’.
